Silicone and Liquid Coatings

Currently the state of Texas does not require a Roofing license to perform Roofing work. During the Covid pandemic material became expensive and scarce thus impacted Comercial Roofing and really all roofing. Silicone and acrylic and asphaltic coatings became popular as a remedy to combat scarcity and cost. Liquid application is very effective, depending on the method of application, general Roofing installation and especially here in Texas is notorious for Shotty work, Roof coatings in the same way have a reputation of failure Due to the lack of knowledge and proper installation. Liquid application is best used for long and short term repairs to Comercial roofs, and as a restoration to applicable buildings to cut demo and new roof cost, generally popular with investment buildings. Depending on installation, a restored roof can last 10-20 yrs of properly applied, and can be a lost investment if installed by the wrong crew.
